A routine traffic stop takes an unexpected turn when an individual refuses to comply, leading to a tense struggle under the cover of darkness. Deputies initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for a signaling violation and damaged lights on a rural road. The driver provided documents, and the passenger was asked to exit for a search. During this initial phase, suspected narcotics and drug paraphernalia were reportedly discovered under one of the vehicle's seats. As deputies attempted to take the individual into custody, the situation escalated dramatically. The person actively resisted arrest, leading to a physical confrontation with officers. Footage captures the officer repeatedly commanding the individual to stop and turn around, while the person denies wrestling, pleads for help, and issues a warning regarding the officer's taser. The struggle intensified as deputies worked to subdue the individual. Both officers sustained injuries during the altercation. Following their apprehension, the individual continued to fight staff and refused to cooperate upon arrival at the detention facility. They were subsequently charged with multiple offenses before being released under a pending court date.
