On March 28, 2025, Venice Police Officers responded to a verbal argument between a man and the owner of a home in the area. The man was also with his 27-year-old wife, who had initially walked away from the scene. When the woman returned to the area, she was detained due to her level of intoxication. When she refused to follow orders to remain seated on the curb, she was placed in handcuffs and escorted to the back of one of the patrol vehicles. She slipped the handcuffs, became verbally abusive towards officers, and claimed she urinated in an attempt to get urine on them. Her charges and the outcome of her case are discussed at the end of the video.
