On March 2, 2025, Roswell Police Officer Bolanos stopped a vehicle for traveling 40 miles-per-hour (MPH) in a 30 MPH zone. The vehicle was being driven by a 27-year-old woman. She did not have a license with her and it was eventually revealed that it was revoked. She was instructed to step out of the vehicle, where an open container of vodka was discovered. The woman was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests. After the conclusion of the tests, she was placed under arrest. She refused to provide breath samples and became very angry and verbally abusive after being held in a holding cell for 90 minutes. She was charged with Aggravated Driving While Under the Influence of Liquor and Speeding. All suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
