MVR AND BWC IN USE 13C284 *Arkansas State Police Incident Report.* On 2/4/23 around 9:05 pm, Dispatch advised Little Rock Police Department (LRPD) was in a vehicle pursuit on I-630 WB near the 4 MM and asking for our assistance. LRPD advised the vehicle was stolen approximately 15 minutes prior to the start of the pursuit and the vehicle was taken at gunpoint. When this transmission went out, I was traveling west on I-630 near the 5 MM. I immediately pulled over on the right shoulder. I observed the suspect vehicle approaching me at a high rate of speed. I immediately got in behind V1 as it passed me and I became primary in the pursuit. I advised Dispatch that I was primary and gave out our current location, speed, and traffic conditions. V1 then took the John Barrow Road exit. V1 traveled straight through the red light at the intersection at a high rate of speed to get onto the I-630 WB Entrance Ramp. While on the ramp, V1 lost control and left the roadway to the right. V1 then rolled over several times in the grassy area off the right side of the roadway before coming to a stop. V1 came to a stop on the top of the vehicle. D1 was placed into custody by LRPD. Due to the circumstances, LRPD Detectives arrived on scene and had V1 towed to their evidence bay. There were no signs of visible injuries to D1 but due to his age, D1 was transported to Arkansas Children's Hospital by MEMS. LRPD charged D1 with numerous felonies that included felony fleeing. I responded to Arkansas Children's Hospital and issued D1 several traffic citations in reference to this incident.
