Please like, comment, and SHARE! 🙏 🔍 Episode Overview: It was about 12:27 a.m. on September 2, 2024, when Officer Dennis Cameron drove south on Knickerbocker Road. He noticed a dark van with a silver 2020 Toyota Camry close behind it. Cameron turned around and followed the Camry. The car crossed the double yellow lines and passed the van unsafely before continuing north. Cameron switched on his lights and pulled it over. The driver stopped near Durie Avenue in Closter. After telling dispatch about the stop, Cameron approached the car and spoke with the driver, Bryanna. As the officer came closer, Bryanna's boyfriend told Cameron that he knew her. He also said he had been told to keep driving. Cameron smelled alcohol near Bryanna and asked for her license and registration. She struggled to find the documents, speaking with her boyfriend by phone while searching through the car. After several minutes, Cameron asked her to step outside. He suspected she had been drinking and asked her to perform field sobriety tests. Officer Nolasco arrived to assist. Cameron asked Bryanna if she had consumed alcohol. She said she was driving home from work and had one drink. During the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus test, Cameron noticed problems with her eye movement. Her eyes did not move smoothly, and nystagmus began before 45 degrees. She then took the Walk and Turn test but failed to touch heel-to-toe. During the One Leg Stand, she did not raise her foot properly and put it down too soon. Bryanna had driven erratically, and the strong smell of alcohol remained around her. She also admitted she had been drinking earlier. After she failed the roadside tests, officers arrested her. Her car was towed and held for 12 hours under John's Law. Cameron brought Bryanna to the police station, read her the required driver warnings, and asked her to take a breath test. She agreed. The test showed an alcohol level of 0.11%, above the legal limit of 0.08%. Police processed Bryanna and later released her. Her boyfriend's mother signed a warning form and accepted responsibility for her until court. Cameron issued several tickets, including charges for drunk driving and reckless driving.
