On November 12, 2024, Rio Rancho Police Officers responded to a single car motor vehicle accident. When Sgt. Griffith arrived, he noticed the female driver slumped over behind the wheel. He was able to get the 17-year-old girl to wake up and exit her vehicle. However, officers quickly realized the girl was too drunk to perform standardized field sobriety tests. She was placed under arrest and was transported to the Rio Rancho Police Station, where she proceeded to vomit several times. The girl then repeatedly and belligerently cried for her mommy, who eventually showed up to calm the girl down. Because of her physical and mental condition, she was transported to the hospital for evaluation. Her charges are listed at the end of the video. All suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
