On 6/14/2023, at approximately 1259 hours, a male subject entered a business and engaged in a verbal altercation with the manager. Despite being informed that he was trespassing and asked to leave multiple times, the subject became verbally aggressive. Police officers approached the scene as the argument continued near the front door. The subject refused to leave and braced himself against the counter. After several commands, the police officer attempted to arrest him for trespassing, but he resisted and refused to provide identification. At the jail, he continued to refuse identification and resisted fingerprinting. The subject was later identified as John P. Sullivan, who had warrants in Lansing, Michigan. He was charged with trespassing and resisting arrest.
