From the official Pequannock Township press release: On December 15, 2022, at approximately 11:24 PM, patrol officers were dispatched to the area of Jacksonville Road, near First Street, for the report of a motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival, Patrolman Brian Parigi observed a blue Volkswagen Tiguan with damage that had struck a utility pole with no other vehicles involved Patrolman Parigi made contact with the driver, Lauren Burklow (24 years-old) of Pompton Plains, NJ. Patrolman Fisher observed signs of intoxication by Ms. Burklow. Following an initial investigation, Ms. Burklow was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. She was transported for processing. Ms. Burklow was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, and other Title 39 violations. She was subsequently released pending a mandatory court appearance in the Pequannock Township Municipal Court.
