Officers in Florida responded to a Walgreens after reports surfaced that an employee had devised a scheme to steal thousands of dollars using his Cash App. According to investigators, the worker exploited his access to load multiple gift cards and funnel the funds directly into his personal account. What began as a quiet shift quickly turned into a criminal investigation, as officers arrived to confront the suspect and unravel the digital paper trail he thought no one would catch.
