REAL POLICE BODYCAM footage captures one of the most hostile and threatening arrests ever recorded as a Hinsdale woman makes death threats against officers while resisting a DUI warrant. This bodycam video documents an explosive confrontation that escalated from garage arrest to felony charges. In this police bodycam footage, officers attempt to arrest 45-year-old Shawn Mullarkey on an outstanding domestic battery warrant when she immediately becomes combative: "Get your hands off of me" and "No, I'm not" under arrest. The situation rapidly deteriorates as officers explain: "You have a warrant and you're wanted for domestic battery," to which she continues her defiance. The confrontation becomes dangerous when Mullarkey makes explicit death threats against officers, telling one "You are dead" and calling another officer "You are the piece of dirt that I wouldn't piss on if you were on fire." These shocking statements, captured clearly on police bodycam, demonstrate the extreme hostility officers faced during this arrest. Most disturbing is her attempt to physically assault an officer by trying to bite his wrist during the struggle. She also manipulated evidence by removing her Apple Watch to prevent search and claimed children were home alone to create urgency: "My children don't have anybody at home right now. You're gonna put my kids alone in danger." Throughout the encounter, Mullarkey shows clear signs of intoxication, prompting officers to note: "I smell an order of alcohol on your breath." When asked about recent drinking, she admits: "Of course" to consuming alcohol in the last 8 hours, despite later refusing breath and blood tests. Her verbal abuse continues with dehumanizing language: "You're the worst part of society" and accusations that officers "beat me up in front of my kids." When an officer attempts to explain procedures, she responds with vulgar dismissals and attempts to manipulate the situation through claims about her attorney filing motions. According to police reports, this June 9, 2022 incident in Hinsdale, Illinois resulted in Mullarkey's arrest on multiple charges including aggravated assault of an officer, resisting arrest, felony aggravated DUI (her third), and possession of alcohol while driving. The arrest followed reports that she had driven intoxicated from Aurora Country Club with two small children in her vehicle. This police bodycam footage represents one of the most verbally and physically aggressive arrests on record, demonstrating the dangerous situations officers face when suspects refuse compliance and make explicit threats of violence.
