A hit-and-run incident in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, quickly escalated into a high-speed pursuit across multiple highways. After a pedestrian was hit at Menards, a 911 caller provided the vehicle's license plate, and officers utilized the City's License Plate Reader (LPR) system to track the suspects' car. Minutes later, the LPR system alerted Altoona Police to the vehicle’s location. The pursuit intensified as the suspects fled south on Highway 53 and west on Interstate 94.
