This was a routine traffic stop and upon basic questioning the answers they provided the officer did not make sense. They had probably cause to run a canine search on the exterior of the vehicle. The K9 alerted positive for illegal drugs. That turned into the officers doing a search of the interior of the vehicle, while that was going on the 2 suspects tried to make a run for it. They tasered the female and apprehended her immediately. The male was apprehended a short time later. They found 20 thousand fentanyl pills,12 pounds of methamphetamine and 2 pounds of heroin in the vehicle. They both got hit with several different charges. I know the male got a 3 year prison sentence, unclear what the female got. ( People have asked in the comments on a lot of these videos, how much prison time are these people getting? From what I've seen, it's been that 3-7 year range depending on if you have prior offenses. That's on state charges, not federal) *All suspects in these videos should be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
