On April 25, 2025, Rio Rancho Police Officer Roskos stopped a vehicle for allegedly traveling 74 miles per hour (MPH) in a 45-mph zone. The 26-year-old driver claimed she was in a hurry to get to the hospital to take a pregnancy test. Officer Roskos detected slurred speech and asked the woman if she had been drinking. The woman admitted to consuming 2 vodka drinks prior to driving. She was then asked to step out of the vehicle in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests. At the conclusion of the tests, she was placed under arrest for Driving While Under the Influence. At the police station, she provided two breath samples and the results were 0.18% BAC and 0.19% BAC.
