Five masked men armed with knives, an axe and a sledgehammer storm a couple’s home in a terrifying armed burglary, leaving the victims injured and traumatised. With their windows smashed, their belongings ransacked and their car stolen, detectives face a race against time to identify the gang before they strike again. In this episode of Police: Suspect No 1, detectives investigate a violent home invasion that initially appears almost impossible to solve. The attackers conceal their faces and wear gloves, leaving investigators with limited CCTV footage, an uncertain motive and very few leads. But a discarded vape pen found inside the property could hold the key to identifying one of the men responsible. When forensic testing produces a DNA match to Graeme Green, police finally have a name to pursue. After Green is arrested in Doncaster for an unrelated offence, detectives confront him with the evidence during a tense police interview. Despite initially denying any involvement, he eventually admits his role in the burglary, although he refuses to identify the four other suspects. With one suspect charged and the remaining gang members still unidentified, the investigation continues as detectives look to further forensic evidence for answers. Can police identify the rest of the gang and secure justice for the victims of this frightening armed home invasion?
