Alaska in the 1970s and 80s was a place for a fresh start, but for some women, it became their final destination. A fierce serial killer was operating in the rugged Alaskan wilderness, hunting women like animals for his own twisted pleasure. Bodies of young women began turning up in shallow graves, exposing a predator who preyed almost exclusively on exotic dancers. This cold case began to crack when 17-year-old Cindy Pollson escaped the merciless killer's grasp, running down an Anchorage highway partially dressed and in handcuffs. Her shocking testimony, including a detailed description of her attacker, Robert Hansen—a respectable local baker—was initially dismissed.
