#PowerballWinner #LotteryWinnerArrested #BodyCam Just one day after winning a historic $167.3 million Powerball jackpot, James Farthing’s dream vacation in St. Pete Beach turned into a nightmare. A barroom argument at the TradeWinds Resort escalated when Farthing allegedly punched another patron who doubted his lottery win claims. The situation took a violent turn as deputies intervened—only for Farthing to strike a deputy in the face during the chaos. Body camera footage captures the dramatic scene, including Farthing’s brief escape attempt and subsequent takedown with a Taser. Now, the Kentucky man faces multiple charges, including battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, and parole violation. Adding to the drama, his girlfriend was also arrested for disorderly intoxication tied to the same incident. What should have been a celebration of newfound wealth has instead become a legal battle, with prosecutors preparing to use bodycam video and eyewitness accounts against him.
