A local gym owner well into his 40s was allegedly reliving his high-school glory days, and officers ain't got time for that. The gym owner, named Brandon, was reportedly subjecting members of his gym to a 90s relic called a "CD", which was used to play music by the band The Offspring at an excessively high volume. While it's unclear whether or not police were responding to a noise complaint, or simply exhibiting a perfectly understandable distaste towards the band, the officer requested that the music be turned down. Brandon, who is allegedly Pretty Fly for a White Guy, reportedly refused the officer's lawful order to lower the Gen-X anthems that blared so loudly from the gym's sound system, so early in the morning. Members of the gym stopped their 20th century-themed workouts to witness the heated interaction. Brandon is seen on police body camera requesting that the officer promptly leave his gym, and the officer obliged. The responding officer explained the situation to other officers as they arrived to provide backup at the strip-mall gym. Brandon exited his establishment to calmly explain to the officers that they were on private property. At the risk of pointing out the obvious, every American knows it's their God-given constitutional right to listen to The Offspring at any volume - frankly, the louder the better. "You'll take this Sony discman playing The Offspring's multi-platinum CD, Americana, out of my cold dead hands," is a phrase many know all too well. Brandon told the officers, without showing any signs of aggression whatsoever, that his legal dream team was, at that very moment, preparing to file a lawsuit against the police - presumably for discrimination against 40-somethings listening to The Offspring. Brandon took out his teeth as he debated with officers about case law as it applied to the situation, an act that some could interpret as a sign of getting ready to rumble. Officers weren't deterred from their mission to end the unspeakable horror of those being subjected to The Offspring's catchy songs about pre-Internet teenage angst, and they casually followed Brandon into his gym. Brandon allegedly displayed to the officers his Nitro (Youthful Energy), which was presumed to be a Bad Habit of his. Brandon tried to Get Away, but officers Had Something to Believe in. The gym owner exhibited his Self-Esteem. Officers warned that it may be time for Mr. Sparky to Come Out and Play. Brandon was taken from his gym - barefoot, toothless, and wearing handcuffs - in full view of his paying customers. The Kids Aren't All Right. As the barefoot and toothless (alleged) Killboy Powerhead sat in the back of a police car, we can imagine that he felt So Alone. Did he reflectively ask himself, "What Happened to You?"
