On May 24, 2025, police bodycam footage captures a traffic stop that quickly turned into a major drug bust case after a delayed pull-over and an unusual travel story raised suspicion. When a K9 alerted, officers searched the vehicle and eventually found narcotics hidden inside the engine compartment fuse box. As officers confronted the two occupants, both denied knowing anything about the stash, and the stop turned into a tense blame game between the driver and his adult stepson. Both men were arrested after officers uncovered the concealed fentanyl. The situation escalates when the father attempts to blame his stepson, even urging and calling family members to convince stepson to take the fall — unaware that jail calls are recorded.
