It starts with a simple complaint: “No delivery came here.” But the tracking screen says otherwise—delivered at 3PM. As the officer listens, the value raises the stakes: the resident ordered two 1-oz gold bars worth $6,800 through Costco online. Officers explain what likely happened: the package was intercepted and signed for fraudulently. Then comes the rare resolution most people don’t get—police confirm the package is already in custody as evidence, and the resident is guided on next steps for documentation and refund support through the retailer. ⚠️ Disclaimer: Edited for privacy & safety.
