On May 21, 2024, Ohio police were called to a hospital parking lot after a concerned staff member heard cries coming from a parked car. Inside, they found two small children who had been left alone for over an hour. By the time the officers arrived, their mother was nowhere to be found. Eventually, she showed up at the police station, ready to explain why she thought leaving her kids in a car for that long was a good idea.
