** (Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only) ** Streetsboro police are investigating a Sunday evening pursuit involving officers and a man fleeing from a traffic stop that lasted almost 15 minutes. Police Lt. Tricia Wain said the chase began at about 7:20 p.m. near state Route 43 and Frost Road. “The pursuit sort of looped around and ended in Camelot Village, which is a trailer park near Frost Road,” Wain said. At some point in the chase, the fleeing man — who was driving a white 2003 Ford Ranger — struck a residential light pole. Shortly afterward, he stopped his vehicle in the trailer park and led a brief foot chase. He escaped, but he left his vehicle behind. Wain said the vehicle has been impounded and police are investigating leads regarding who the suspect might be. Witnesses reported the chase reached very high speeds, but Wain said preliminary reports indicate the chase probably didn’t exceed 60 or so miles per hour.
