On July 17, 2024, a high-speed chase erupted through city streets after officers attempted to stop a driver in a dark green Kia Sorrento with no plates. The woman behind the wheel ran multiple red lights, sped through residential neighborhoods, and nearly lost control several times before crashing at Bartlett and Bellevue. After the collision, officers rushed to the scene, finding both themselves and the suspect injured and shaken. Bodycam footage captures a mix of physical pain, remorse, and raw emotion from all involved.
