An airport employee was randomly selected for a TSA pat-down while waiting in the long security lines. He protested, saying he was in a hurry, and tried to push past the agents. When staff intervened, he reacted violently, shoving and striking one employee before officers arrived on the scene. After reviewing security footage and speaking with the victim, authorities found that the suspect had displayed aggressive behavior toward several TSA workers. He was taken into custody, received a one-year ban from the airport, and a lifetime ban from Southwest Airlines. In addition, he was fired from his position as an aerospace engineer.
