Police responded to an apartment complex after reports of more than eight people yelling and preparing to fight in a parking lot. Officers noted the property had numerous "No Loitering" signs and had been the subject of previous disturbance calls. Upon arrival, officers observed several individuals quickly retreat into an apartment while others remained in the area. During the investigation, officers made contact with a man sitting in a vehicle who allegedly showed signs of intoxication and repeatedly refused requests to identify himself. According to the report, officers informed the man he was under arrest for obstruction and loitering after he refused to comply with commands. Officers then removed him from the vehicle and took him into custody as a large crowd emerged from a nearby apartment and began yelling at police. The man was later transported for medical treatment of minor injuries before being booked on charges including Public Intoxication, Loitering, Resisting Arrest, and Obstruction of Governmental Operations.
