@Copwatchtv obtained body worn camera footage of an incident that involved an off-duty Chaves County lieutenant being pulled over by Dexter Police Department in the late hours of the morning. Lt. Joel Ramirez was driving the wrong way on a highway in a remote area in the early hours of the morning. Dexter PD called Chaves County Sheriff's office in and then turned over the case to Roswell PD to avoid conflict of interest. Ramirez refused the breath test and a blood draw was submitted. He resigned from his position a few weeks after his arrest.
