A domestic disturbance takes a dangerous turn after officers initially depart, leading to a second emergency call. On January 4, 2023, officers responded to a residence for a domestic dispute, departing without an arrest. Moments later, a second call reported that the female suspect, described as having dark, curly hair and wearing a black hoodie with an "Anda Borracho" graphic, allegedly threatened to kill the male victim while he slept. The victim, expressing fear for his life, wished to press charges. Officers returned, made phone contact, and arranged for the victim to return, leading to the suspect's arrest for threatening violence and assault and battery. During detainment, the suspect denied the threats, attributing the victim's statements to mental health issues, but was ultimately charged and transported to jail. --- Transparency through the lens of the law.
