On August 29th, 2024, officers responded to a bank after a woman attempted to cash a fraudulent check and used a stolen driver's license to do so. After an investigation, a woman was taken to jail and charged with multiple felony counts of forgery, fraud, and identity theft. She was found to be in possession of multiple fraudulent identification cards and social security cards. Several of the documents were stolen from other people, and several were fake.
