#dui #bodycam #police #arrest “I HAVEN’T HAD ANYTHING.” Those are the words Morgan gives police when they begin questioning her after a fatal motorcycle crash in St. Charles, Illinois. But the bodycam footage captures the moment officers start digging into her story. and the investigation quickly takes a dramatic turn. Police respond to a devastating crash involving a motorcycle and a white Jeep. The 27-year-old motorcyclist, Ryan Hessle, is dead. Officers soon locate Morgan’s Jeep on a nearby golf course, where she tells police another vehicle sideswiped her and insists she had not been drinking. But something doesn’t add up. As officers question Morgan about the crash, the intersection, where she had been, and what happened before the collision, her explanation becomes increasingly difficult to follow. Police then begin a DUI investigation and ask her to perform field sobriety tests. She refuses and asks to be taken to the hospital. Then, on bodycam, officers place her under arrest for DUI. The investigation doesn’t stop there. Police search the Jeep and reportedly find empty alcoholic seltzer cans, a bag containing white powder, and rolled-up cash with similar residue. According to the source, a preliminary test later comes back positive for cocaine. Morgan also refuses a breath test. Because the crash was fatal, investigators obtain a mandatory blood draw at the hospital. The reported result later shows a BAC of 0.13. Meanwhile, the bodycam investigation reveals the heartbreaking story of Ryan Hessle, a 27-year-old Army National Guard veteran who was engaged to be married and had reportedly purchased his motorcycle just one day before the crash. Watch the full police bodycam footage as officers piece together what happened, confront Morgan with their questions, make the DUI arrest, and uncover evidence that could change the entire investigation.
