An encounter involving a white Honda Civic on Interstate 30 developed into a high-speed Arkansas State Police pursuit on August 12, 2026. Dashcam footage from Trooper Nicholas Ramsey shows the Honda traveling along I-30 while the Arkansas State Police unit follows closely behind. At one point in the footage, the patrol vehicle is shown traveling approximately 69 MPH behind the Civic as both vehicles approach highway traffic, including multiple tractor-trailers. The situation later escalates dramatically. Another dashcam frame shows Trooper Ramsey's patrol vehicle reaching approximately 121 MPH while pursuing the Honda on I-30 near the Hot Springs exit. The pursuit unfolds in daylight with other motorists and commercial vehicles sharing the interstate, adding another level of risk as the trooper attempts to keep pace with the fleeing vehicle. The supplied screenshots also show an earlier moment with the Honda stopped on the shoulder and Trooper Ramsey positioned at the driver's side of the vehicle. However, without the accompanying incident report or full narrative, the exact sequence and circumstances surrounding that stop cannot be confirmed from the screenshots alone.
