On July 13, 2023, a woman was pulled over for expired registration by Whitman County Sheriff's Deputy Alex Petersen. Upon asking if she had been drinking, the woman admitted that she had consumed 2 White Claws about 45 minutes ago. The deputy initiated field sobriety exercises, which included the use of a portable breath testing device. She blew an incredible 0.215. After a long ride to the county jail and a bunch of paperwork, she blew a 0.14 & 0.13 on the evidential breath testing device.
