On December 12, a Waukesha police officer initiated a chase after spotting a reckless driver near Highway 164 and Broadway. The suspect, driving a stolen vehicle tied to an armed robbery and a crash with an Illinois state trooper, led officers on a dangerous pursuit, reaching speeds of 100 mph and driving into oncoming traffic. The chase was briefly halted but resumed when the car was spotted again, ending after police deployed spike strips and performed a PIT maneuver. The suspect, identified as Marino, attempted to flee but was apprehended with the help of a K9 unit. Police found evidence of drug use in the vehicle, and Marino was taken into custody after medical treatment. #waukeshacounty #PoliceChase #k9 #PITManeuver #HighSpeedChase #CrimeNews #Wisconsin #highspeedpursuit My partner Aura just launched their new "Are you smarter than a scammer?" quiz.
