** (Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only) ** Police say a Winooski police officer was dragged by a car while trying to stop the driver. It happened Tuesday night around 9 p.m. as police tried to stop 26-year-old Katelyn Barndt on Malletts Bay Avenue. Police say the dragged officer suffered minor injuries. Officers caught up with Barndt when she got stuck in traffic on the Winooski River Bridge. Barndt was treated at UVM Medical Center for minor injury and drug use. Barndt was charged with gross negligent operation, attempting to allude and assaulting an officer.
