They looped back for a look. There, they saw a snow-dusted pedestrian sign toppled in the street too. Officer Kelly radioed dispatch right away. He approached the Jeep's driver and her three passengers. The driver seemed shy at first about sharing details. She fibbed about her age a few times. In the end, they pegged her as 20-year-old Camila Cabrera-Mora. While chatting with her, Officer Kelly caught a whiff of booze. He spotted signs she might be tipsy. Camila owned up to downing a beer at a party that night. Snow fell too hard for roadside sobriety checks. Still, the crash, the alcohol smell, and her confession led to her arrest for driving drunk. Cops towed her Jeep for a 12-hour hold, as John's Law requires. Officers Kelly and Silva took her to the station for booking. Officer Toni Roman patted her down. They read her the standard rights for drivers. She said yes to breath tests. The Alcotest showed 0.14% blood alcohol—nearly twice the 0.08% limit for those over 21. They wrapped up processing. Camila's sister signed the liability warning for her. They let Camila go home with her sister until court. Officer Silva handed out these tickets: operating under the influence; underage drunk driving; DWI near a school zone; reckless driving; careless driving that wrecked property; no proof of car insurance. 22:10 can you scratch my nose? scratch your nose on the door frame. 24:09 I get why he is scared for her. 35:07 Officer, were you smoking If you enjoyed this BodyCamBust video.
