On December 1st, 2023, officers responded to a disturbance at a nursing facility after a verbal dispute between two employees escalated into a physical altercation. According to staff, the disagreement began over patient care and quickly turned physical inside the building. Officers made contact with both involved employees and observed minor injuries. Facility management requested that charges be filed and that both individuals be removed from the property. While officers were escorting one of the women out, she became belligerent and repeatedly refused to leave. After being advised she was under arrest for Disorderly Conduct, the woman actively resisted officers by pulling away and refusing to comply with commands, resulting in an additional charge of Resisting Arrest. The second individual was also charged in connection with the initial fight.
