On February 20, 2026, officers were dispatched to Tampa International Airport after receiving two separate theft calls involving the same woman. The first call came from a Lyft driver, who reported that a passenger had allegedly stolen his wallet from inside his vehicle. About 20 minutes later, officers received another call reporting that the same woman had allegedly stole a $320 sweater from a retail store inside the airport and was still nearby.
