After detecting the odor of illegal drugs and uncovering the driver’s extensive criminal history, officers initiated a search that quickly raised red flags. Police bodycam footage shows the suspect repeatedly resisting a full search. While officers initially recovered a small amount of drugs, the real discovery came later—after the suspect was left alone in the patrol car. Unaware the rear camera was recording, the suspect attempted to dispose of additional drugs hidden on his body. The footage captured everything.
