A jaw‑dropping incident in Whitehall, Ohio, caught on police body camera, where Casey Donavan Williams, 26, a former Pickaway County corrections deputy, allegedly impersonated a police officer at a traffic detail. Williams told on‑scene officers he was on duty for private firms and local departments, but investigators soon discovered no valid commission and a fake badge While wearing a "police" vest and fake Pickaway County Sheriff badge, he sat in a Crown Victoria outfitted with red and blue lights, even found asleep on duty. Inside the car: a loaded AR‑15 rifle, handgun with 15 rounds, ballistic vest, taser, pepper spray, handcuffs, and more gear typically issued to real officers. When questioned, Williams gave inconsistent stories: claiming he worked special details for Cleveland Watchmen, the Glenmont PD, then Pickaway County—but none of those employment claims checked out He’s been arrested for third‑degree felony impersonation and a fourth‑degree felony for improper handling of a firearm in a vehicle, booked into Franklin County jail, then released on his own recognizance This video walks you through the full body‑cam exchange, the arrest, the gear, and the legal fallout.
