REAL POLICE BODYCAM footage shows Des Plaines Police officers dealing with an intoxicated woman at Rivers Casino who threatens to urinate in public when asked to leave the premises. This bodycam video captures the escalating situation that eventually led to multiple felony charges. In this police bodycam footage, 38-year-old Stephanie Neff from Lake in the Hills can be heard making belligerent statements when officers attempt to have her leave the casino property: "I don't give a fuck what they're letting me do." The bodycam clearly captures her becoming increasingly agitated about needing to use the bathroom. The intoxicated woman issues a crude ultimatum captured on the police bodycam: "They better let me go to the bathroom because my bladder is going to piss all over the floor unless they get me inside." When officers inform her this won't be permitted, she escalates her threats: "They are not going to so get in a taxi. I'm going to pull my pants down right here and get in trouble." The officer's professional response is clearly documented on the bodycam: "That is your choice and yes you will be in trouble." This exchange demonstrates how officers attempted to reason with Neff while also setting clear boundaries about appropriate behavior. According to police reports, this incident occurred at 1:22 a.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2024, after Neff was prevented from entering the casino floor due to her intoxication level. Casino security had requested police assistance after she refused to leave the property despite multiple requests. This police bodycam footage shows the beginning of what would become a much more serious situation. After initially agreeing to leave via rideshare, Neff later refused to enter the vehicle and attempted to re-enter the casino. The situation eventually escalated to physical confrontation where she attempted to punch an officer, chest-bumped another, and kicked officers while being placed in a squad car. Neff was ultimately charged with two counts of felony aggravated battery to a peace officer, felony aggravated assault to a peace officer, and a misdemeanor count of resisting a peace officer.
