Police approached the vehicle and saw a male lying down in the trunk of the car on a mattress with the trunk open. A shirtless female was seen closing the trunk and getting into the driver's seat. When police went to make contact with the driver, the vehicle began to accelerate and flee. After a 30-minute chase, the vehicle was finally stopped and a felony traffic stop was conducted. Multiple commands were given to the passenger, who complied and exited, claiming to be kidnapped, and the driver, who had to be forcibly removed from the vehicle after refusing to exit. The female was turned over to Fire Rescue for medical evaluation due to her mental status and charged with multiple felonies.
