#BloomingtonPolice #BPD Thanks to @TowTruckNate which edited this video together! 27-CR-20-26770 - Probable Cause Statement "Complainant has investigated the facts and circumstances of this offense and believes the following establishes probable cause: On December 14, 2020, at approximately 8:30 p.m., officers spotted a vehicle speeding while driving eastbound on Old Shakopee Road in Bloomington, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Officers monitored the vehicle and saw that it was a tan 1993 Toyota Camry bearing Minnesota license plates EGT---. Officers initiated a traffic stop at Johnson Avenue South and 108th Street West. The vehicle came to a stop, and the officer saw that it was only occupied by a male driver. Before the officer could approach the vehicle, it sped away northbound from the stop. The vehicle attempted to evade officers for a distance of approximately 4 miles, while exceeding posted speed limits. Officers attempted PIT maneuvers to stop the vehicle twice and eventually another squad was able to assist and stop the subject vehicle from proceeding near Grand Avenue South. Even when the vehicle was disabled, the driver attempted to reverse and free the vehicle. The driver was later identified as K--D--P--, DOB: --/--/1994, Defendant herein. Defendant eventually gave up, exited the vehicle, and was arrested. Officers found an uncased, loaded .38 caliber Taurus revolver containing three rounds of ammunition in plain view, on the driver's side floorboard. A backpack containing marijuana and a digital scale was located on the passenger side floorboard. Defendant had $5,991 cash on his person in his pants pocket. Defendant was arrested on active misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor warrants. Defendant had a driver's license status of revoked.
