[Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only] Vaughan, Ontario, Canada — On November 29, 2025, around 2:40 a.m., officers from the York Regional Police (YRP) attempted to stop a Dodge Caravan observed to be driving erratically. The driver, later identified as a 29-year-old male connected to a string of break-and-enters, then fled, leading to the deployment of a police helicopter. Tracked by the YRP's police air unit, the suspect began weaving through traffic at high speeds, ignoring multiple red lights. After entering a residential area, he briefly exited his vehicle, attempting to steal an SUV parked in a driveway before fleeing again in the Dodge Caravan. As the chase continued, ground units kept their lights and sirens off as they tracked the suspect via the air unit's direction. One officer managed to successfully deploy spike strips, causing the suspect's vehicle to emit sparks. The suspect eventually pulled his vehicle into an underground parking garage. A brief foot chase ensued before the suspect was taken into custody. The Dodge Caravan used in the chase was found to have been stolen on November 27 in Toronto, and the suspect was linked to two commercial break-and-enters that occurred on November 15 and November 21 in Richmond Hill and Toronto, respectively.
