A late-night disturbance escalates as a young driver refuses to exit her locked vehicle, defying officer commands. Officers responded to a report of a disturbance on Steamboat Drive around 1:42 AM, where they encountered a young adult female inside a locked 2011 BMW. Despite her boyfriend confirming she had been drinking, the subject repeatedly ignored instructions to exit the vehicle and threatened to drive away, leading to a tense standoff. Patrolmen, including Adam Kraus, were forced to threaten breaking the car window to gain her compliance. Following her eventual exit, she was arrested for driving under the influence due to uncooperative behavior and observed signs of impairment, later continuing her belligerent conduct at police headquarters and attempting to manipulate a breathalyzer test. She was subsequently released to her boyfriend with multiple summonses, including operating under the influence and obstructing the administration of law. --- Transparency through the lens of the law.
