On January 27, 2024, officers responded to a domestic dispute between a mother and daughter and tried repeatedly to calm the situation and hear both sides. The encounter escalated when the daughter allegedly became aggressive, resisted officers, and bit an officer during the struggle. She was charged with battery, resisting arrest, and trespassing, though the reported charges are allegations and not findings of guilt.
