On May 4, 2024, Ohio State University Police Officer Amoako stopped a vehicle for failing to stop at a stop sign. The police report claims he could smell alcohol and burnt cannabis coming from the vehicle. The 22-year-old driver was asked to step out of the vehicle. It was then revealed that she was driving on a suspended license. She admitted to drinking two shots, so she was asked to submit to standardized field sobriety tests. At the conclusion, she was arrested for Operating a Vehicle Impaired (OVI). She was transported to the University Police Station, where she submitted to an evidential breath test. The result was 0.084% BAC. Her charges and the outcome of her case are discussed at the end of the video.
