#police #arrest #bodycam A high-speed police chase turns into a tense foot pursuit when a suspect abandons his vehicle and runs through a neighborhood, forcing Cedar Rapids police to search yards, fences, and thick vegetation. After the suspect disappears on foot, witnesses help officers determine which direction he ran. Police then bring in K-9 Officer T-Money, who begins tracking the suspect through the neighborhood. The search takes an unexpected turn when the K-9 locks onto an area near a fence and a bucket. Officers can't immediately see anyone, but the dog's behavior suggests the suspect may be hiding nearby. Moments later, the suspect takes off again, confirming that the K-9 was onto something. The suspect was eventually apprehended and transported to the Linn County Jail. According to the source, he was booked and charged with eluding, possession of marijuana, possession of crack, possession of drug paraphernalia, a drug tax stamp violation, interference with official acts, and failure to provide proof of insurance.
