On September 6, 2025, Rio Rancho Police Officer Roskos observed a speeding vehicle driving with no taillights. He initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle, which was being driven by a 24-year-old woman. The police report indicates that Officer Roskos detected the smell of alcohol coming from the woman's breath. She was asked to exit her vehicle in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests. However, the woman claimed she could not perform the one-leg stand test because she had two broken feet. Officer Roskos administered alternative tests before placing the woman under arrest. She was transported to the Rio Rancho Police Station, where she provided two breath samples. The results were 0.11% BAC and 0.12% BAC.
