On a Saturday morning at approximately midnight, a police officer observed a vehicle making an improper turn and failing to signal while exiting a business area. The vehicle, driven by a female, was seen weaving within its lane, driving on the fog line, and following too closely to another car. After initiating a traffic stop, officers detected a strong odor of alcohol from the vehicle, noting an unopened alcoholic beverage and a 12-pack of beer inside. The driver claimed to have consumed only two beers since 10:00 P.M. but exhibited signs of impairment during sobriety tests. She was arrested and transported to the police station, where a breath test revealed a BAC of 0.146. The passenger was picked up by acquaintances, and the incident was documented with body and dash camera footage.
