A Columbus Police Officer was on patrol when he observed a woman standing in the road acting strangely. He approached the woman and soon realized she was under the influence of narcotics. The Officer attempted to place the woman in his vehicle to give her a ride to a safe location and she tried to run into traffic to get away from the Officer. More Officers arrived a short time later and helped get the woman in the cruiser. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
