On the evening of March 22, 2025, Alliance police pursued 41-year-old William Woolf—wanted on multiple warrants—across four counties, during which he threw objects like a tire iron, chocolate milk, and a knife at officers in an attempt to crash their cruisers. The chase ended when spike strips disabled his vehicle; Woolf, who has over a dozen license suspensions and 28 prior arrests, now faces several felony charges and is being held in Stark County Jail.
