On February 7, 2026, Rio Rancho Police Lieutenant Hetes observed a vehicle make an illegal left turn. He conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle, which was being driven by a 26-year-old woman. She admitted to consuming a Modelo beer several hours earlier, so Lt. Hetes requested the assistance of Officer Roskos, in order to conduct a Driving While Under the Influence (DWI) investigation. Officer Roskos had the woman exit her vehicle in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests. She was placed under arrest and was transported to the Rio Rancho Police Station. She agreed to provide breath samples and both of them registered 0.16% BAC. Her charges are listed at the end of the video. Her case is still open and all suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
